- galactus is the best and it would be cool if him and magus got in a fight because they are m fav villains but magus would have another backup guy.

Definitely in the top ten
- I don't know how high up he would be, but there is only one villain that frightens the Juggernaut, and that alone is worth a top 5. That villain is Onslaught.

My vote
- I must say that some of the villains on this list are arguable. There are a few others that had the power to destroy planets and the universe, besides Galactus. I have to say Dark Phoenix would have topped my list. I mean, who else would casually commit mass genocide, devour stars, and distract the Skrull and the Skree from Galactus? Of course, she was more an immediate threat than he was.

Sinestro
- How can you leave out Sinestro? He is one bad mamma jamma.

Top 10 Supervillains
- 10) Mystique - The ultimate femme fatale who could be anyone she wanted to be. 9) The Scourge of the Underworld - a villain who thought he was a hero was a really cool idea and very well done. 8) Ozymandias - an interesting character study of someone willing to commit atrocities in order to save the world 7) The Taskmaster - a well thought out character whose made the overused idea of copying heroes abilities (their skills) work 6) Dark Phoenix - the best character who had the power to destroy the universe- made interesting by the dueling personalities 5) Emma Frost - much better as a villain than as a hero 4) Dr. Doom - A well done idea that was unusual when introduced - a villain with a code of honor 3) The Catwoman - the first and the best female supervillain 2) The Joker - the best insane villain ever 1) Magneto - the best political villain ever because he could be believeable when acting as a hero

Could it even be possible?
- I know some of you think power is important, others that mind over matter or brain over brawn will win. But how is it possible that nobody even mentioned the true supervillain: Megatron. I mean he's powerful enough to even take on a character like Galactus, smart, devious, ruthless (do I need to mention his motto?), persistent and this one besides conquering all and dominating all is planning to haul all the Energon from the planet. So, is there anything that makes him lesser than the others?

Best or most populuar Villian?
- Without question there can be only one! Doctor Doom is the best villian second to Loki, but if its just destruction your looking for then I'd say the Destroyer or Mangog, yeah I know 3 bad guys from Thor, but Thor is the best superhero there is...

Bessssssst Villain
- joker is without doubt the best villain.his super sanity makes everything he does insane to normal people but in fact its not.he comes up with a different scenario for his life everyday but the problem is that batman is in every one of them and he is just too much fun for joker.so the rivalry continues everyday.

No measurement
- You can pit all the enemies against each other like that. There all different and orientated to that hero. For example super man v venom super man wins easily spider man v lex luthor easy spidy win. The best villains are the ones that complement the hero and what they have to do/sacrifice to over come them.

super villains
- it's not a popularity contest is it though. yes the joker is funny and interesting but when he comes face to face with batman he gets a beatdown EVERy time, time after time. A super villain is a villain who can do anything the hero can do but better. 1. Carnage, stronger than spidey and venom Combined and and also immune to spidey sense, canlaunch parts of his symbiote at enemies as weapons i.e. spears knives etc. 2. Venom- anything spidey could do but better and is even immune to his spidey sense. 3. Doomsday, was more than a match for superman and even killed him once. Superman never could beat him in single comabt. 4. Magneto, an extremely powerful character who seemingly had no limits to his magnetic powers. 5. Grey Hulk, need I say more??? 6. Ozymandias, smartest man alive and also incredibly skilled fighter unlike Lex Luthor, Joker and other brains over braun villains. 7. Darkseid, again really REALLY powerful and a devastating foe. joker- beats to death robin, nuff said.10. doom
