Top Patriotic Characters Missed Misses
- Tied with Captain America--arguably the first and best Comic Book Patriot--should be indeed Mr. Truth Justice and the AMERICAN WAY, the Big Blue Boy Scout Himself. BUT DO NOT FORGET THE RED WHITE AND BLUE CLAD, invisible airplane flying WONDER WOMAN. Sure, from Paradise Island, but she inspired the troops in WW2, and her patriotism was well captured in Darwin Cooke's THE NEW FRONTIER. And the other ladies: Miss America, and for fun, The Tick's associate, American Maid.
