The Son of Odin is loosed upon Earth once again in this latest incarnation of the Marvel Comics character Thor. This is the latest in a line of movies that lead towards the Avengers movie and will star the cast of Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America.
In this tale, Thor is cast down from Asgard to live among humans for his arrogance by his father Odin. He must rise as a champion for Earth to fight against his evil brother Loki trying to save both Earth and Asgard at the same time.
Thor is directed by Kenneth Branagh and stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, and Natalie Portman as Jane Foster. The movie is slated to release on May 6, 2011, which coincides with Free Comic Book Day.
