Summary:

The Justice Society of America is the world’s first superhero team. They first united, in the comics, to recount their adventures and fellowship, but later became a superhero force to be reckoned with. The publisher’s original idea was to showcase those heroes that didn’t have their own comic book.

The Justice Society of America, according to Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman are the DC universe’s moral compass. They are the older generation of heroes, who embodies the ideals of responsibility and politeness. Faced with a new crop of heroes that are seeming to overshadow these heroes, they thought of disbanding and calling it quits. Thanks to Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman though, founding members Wildcat, the original Green Lantern, and the original Flash, decide to form a new team to show the way of how true heroes should be acting.

They now team consists of many second or third generation members, such as the Atom’s son or the original Red Tornadoes granddaughter. They are a blend of the old and new heroes, but all are committed to keeping the world safe from harm.

The latest incarnation of the Justice Society of America shows Wildcat, the Green Lantern, and the Flash forming the new team. The hero Mr. America is hot on the trail of the person responsible for killing his family and a great secret is revealed to team member Wildcat.
