Iron Man, at his core, is just a man. This is one of the things that makes him so special and identifiable with others. He uses his intellect and the things he creates to face challenges no mortal man should have to face. He has gone from a munitions manufacturing war monger to the director of one of the top government agencies, S.H.I.E.L.D. Through it all, Tony Stark has face his one inner demons, from alcoholism, to feeling responsible for the death of his best friend, Steve Rogers aka Captain America.
Through it all, Tony Stark, as Iron Man, has faced these battle head on. He is always fighting to make the world a better place through technology, even if it means having to take the matter into his own hands as the Invincible Iron Man.
