About Peter Petrelli: A male nurse who has had dreams that he can fly. He is the brother of Senate hopeful Nathan Petrelli, and is from a wealthy family. He is somewhat of the black sheep of his family, choosing to make a life on his own rather than be in the circles his family runs in.
Peter feels that his life is to be lived for something larger than himself. He seeks to find answers about where he belongs and is willing to give his life to save the world.
Powers: Peter has discovered that he has the ability to mimic other peoples powers when he is in close proximity of them, often needing to touch them to spark the flow of power. He has used the powers of many of the heroes, including flight, the ability to see the future, stop time, turn invisible, and heal himself.
Status: Peter seeks to stop the explosion that will destroy much of New York City.
