    Review:

Although I felt that the pace of this episode was a little slow, the revelations that were shown to us more than made up for it. We seem to be quickly moving forwards to conclusion that will undoubtedly involve the exploding man.

As soon as I thought that the cast would be coming together to form a merry band of heroes, they have been whipped off in many different directions, each facing new issues and dangers. It will be interesting to see how the group comes together again.

The new characters are a breath of fresh air, especially the charismatic Claude, the invisible man. It was worrying to see a hero pop up, only to become victim to Sylar. It is nice to see that more heroes will be included into the cast. If there weren’t so many revelations in this episode, I think I may have been disappointed as I felt there wasn’t a lot of, “action”. The revelations though, were huge and bode to make the story more complex and interesting.

    Major Revelations:

  • Mohinder Suresh reveals that the “list” contains the names of 36 individuals.
  • Claire’s mother is revealed to be alive. Her name is Merideth Gordon.
  • Hiro’s father is revealed in this episode to be played by George Takei.
  • When Mr. Bennet comes into the room that Sylar was located in, he finds the body of the doctor assigned to watch over him. Mr. Bennet couldn't see Sylar as he entered the room. This asks the question – What other powers is Sylar not showing us?
