  • Niki Sanders: Still battling to free herself from the prison that Jessica has put her in, Niki often shows up in the reflections of objects. When Mohinder asks for some DNA to help map his genetic structure and perhaps learn more about his abilities, Sylar uses the swab on the dead body of Zane in the kitchen. Sylar then convinces Mohinder to let him go on his travels to locate others like him.

    Review:

This episode was a lot of fun that had some great revelations and some excellent action sequences. The tag line one will fly and one will die set this episode up to get us to think that someone would die, but not today.

My favorite part was in seeing Matt Parkman try to outwit Jessica. It was a real brain verses brawn scenario. Unfortunately, Jessica does not lack any in the brains department and easily outwitted him, despite his telepathic abilities. At least they didn’t kill him off as I feared they might do.

The revelation from last week about Nathan Petrelli being Claire’s supposed father really painted Nathan in a good light. He certainly seemed concerned about Meredith and the child that he thought was dead. Maybe there is a soft spot in Nathan’s heart after all. One can hope.

In all, this was an excellent episode that had some great intense action scenes, interesting revelations, and as always, a cliff hanger of an ending.

    Major Revelations:

  • For the first time, Jessica and Nikiappeared to be in the world at the same time.
  • Sylar showed that he does actually absorb his victim’s powers, which had been hinted at, but not really showed.
  • Claire’s ever growing distrust of her adoptive father seems to be coming to a head.
  • Matt crossed a line when he pocketed the diamonds from his dead client.
  • Claude and Mr. Bennet have known each other for some time.
