Interesting Fact:
Although one of the more popular characters, Duke was not in the first line of toys or in the comic series. He was however, in the first cartoon series.
Origin:
A graduate of the airborne school at Fort Benning, Duke worked in Special Forces, mastering many dialects along the way. He was inducted into the GI Joe team by Hawk and went on to become a leader of many missions. Duke scored an early win for the GI Joe team by helping capture Cobra Commander after the Death of General Flagg and the destruction of The Pitt, GI Joe headquarters.
