A hell like dimension.

Powers:

Mephisto is a being of extreme power and abilities. He appears to be immortal and has regenerated his body even after being annihilated.

Mephisto is, at his core, pure evil, and has used his powers to sway the will of others to gain their souls. He must use some sort of pact or contract, but any willing victim can offer their souls to Mephisto and he will be happy to collect them.

His powers seem magical in nature and seems to be intertwined with is home realm, often thought to be hell. He can use his powers to do many things, such as shapeshifting, gaining super strength, teleportation, and others.

It seems however, that Mephisto’s skill in manipulating others is where his true power lies. He has often persuaded heroes and villains to do his bidding with promises and lies. He is a hated enemy to many heroes, especially Doctor Doom, who has his mother soul, and Vision and Scarlet Witch, whom he used to birth parts of his shattered soul in their twin sons. He is also responsible for fusing the demon Zarathos with Johnny Blaze to form Ghost Rider.

Interesting Fact:

Origin:

Mephisto is the lord of the underworld whose purpose in his immortal life is to collect the souls of the dead. He has succeeded time and time again to con mortals into giving their souls to Mephisto for promises that were often not kept or misconstrued to his advantage. Such was the case of Johnny Blaze and Ghost Rider when he offered to save his friend and father figure Crash Simpson only to see him die in a motorcycle crash shortly after curing his cancer.

Although he is often confused with the biblical character Lucifer, a lie that Mephisto has helped along by appearing as the devil, there appears to be no true connection to the devil from the bible. His true origin is rather mysterious, as Mephisto himself has given false tellings of his past. It is thought that he was created by a being known as Infiniti and is some sort of demon.

Mephisto sought to harness the strength that he saw in mortal families and therefore created his own. He created a son, named Blackheart, and a daughter, named Mephista. His own son would turn on him, however, and appeared to kill him with a dagger covered in an innocents blood. His throne was overthrown, but Mephisto eventually recovered his realm seeing his son dispossessed and trapped on earth.

With his fiery hellish realm back in his hands, Mephisto continued on his task to collect mortal souls. This has brought him into direct conflict with many Marvel superheroes including Doctor Strange, Ghost Rider, Thor, Daredevil, The Avengers, and more. He will continue to be an enemy to the heroes of earth for as long as he is alive.
