Free Comic Book Day 2008 Photo Report

Portland, Oregon has one of the hottest comic book scenes in the country right now. Creators from all over call this city their home. Top name creators like Bendis, Busiek, and Brubaker, small press publishers Oni Press and Top Shelf Comix, even larger publisher Dark Hose resides in the area. This town is hot for comics! Combine that with some great comic book stores and you have the makings of a fantastic Free Comic Book Day. I went to four different stores - Guapo Comics, Excalibur Comics, Floating World Comics, and Cosmic Monkey Comics. I had a great time so take a look at some of the stores I visited and the people I met at the 2008 Free Comic Book Day for Portland, Oregon.
