The Fantastic Four is Marvel's first family. They were the landmark series that helped revamp Marvel and comic books in general. The Fantastic Four were real people. The wisecracking and hot headed Johnny Storm, the intellectual but emotionally cold Reed Richards, the motherly Sue Storm, and the man trapped in a monsters body, Ben Grimm. These four characters were more adventure explorer than superhero and have been a huge part of the Marvel Universe.
