Emerald City Comic Con Journal - Comic Creators

There were an amazing amount of writers, artists, inkers, colorists, and publishers at the con. It was great meeting many of the people whose work I have read over the years and have been reading about for as long as well. To be honest, it was quite intimidating. Here I am with some of my comics, being a total fanboy while needing to be the professional journalist. What a quandary. Well the fanboy won out at first but was hopefully subdued for the rest of the con.

What stood out to me is that most of the people there just seemed to be regular guys and girls happy to be doing something they love and getting paid for it. They were very down to earth and it was cool to see they weren’t raving egomaniacs demanding homage to their every whim.
