I am so much more impressed overall with the look and feel of this film, and feel that Guillermo has really hit his stride as a film maker. The visuals are more mature and the special effects look grander. Here's to hoping the story can keep up with all this visual eye candy. If you've seen Pan's Labryinth, than you are most likely resting assured that the franchise is in good hands.
