I love finding new and unusual comic books. When you have been reading comic books as long as I have, it is always refreshing to find a new storyline or art style that can be invigorating as a reader. Archeologists of Shadows really hit that spot for me. It is a very different kind of comic book, especially in the art department. Artist Patricio Clarey uses a mixture of art styles to convey the mechanization process that the characters are going through in this fantasy, science fiction, steampunk mash up. The icing on the cake though is that you can purchase the whole graphic novel for ninety-nine cents via many different digital outlets.
