Joe Kubert Passed Away

The comic book world was saddened with the news of the passing of Joe Kubert, longtime comic book illustrator, who passed away Sunday, August 12 from cancer. Joe has given so much to the comic book industry with his career that has spanned pretty much his entire life and he was still active in creating comics to this day. Some remember his work on such comics as Sgt. Rock, Hawkman, Tor, and Tarzan while others remember his work instituting The Kubert School, the first accredited college of comic book arts. He was one of the old guard of comics and we are all saddened with the passing of such a great talent. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time.
