So there is some word on the street that this years Super Bowl will showcase a decent amount of superhero inspired commercials. Some will be for the upcoming comic based movies such as Thor, Captain America, and Cowboys and Aliens. I have also seen word that there will be some characters making appearances in the commercials as well. See if you can spot which heroes make an appearance this year at Super Bowl XLV. I'll post my thoughts later as things unfold.
Cowboys And Aliens
Short trailer for the upcoming movie based on the Platinum Stuidos comic. I dug what I saw. I've said before that I'm really excited about the cast in this one and Favreau is one of my golden boy directors right now. It's obvious he's a geek and appreciates the medium. I saw some cool effects and nice action scenes. It definitely has potential, but most of my friends can't get past the silly title.
Thor
Another comic book movie with the Thor trailer (first television trailer as I understand it). Looking pretty sweet so far. Saw some pretty epic action scenes worthy of the god of thunder.
Captain America
ZOMG! As an admitted Captain America fan, I was hyped to see this trailer. I thought the pre-super soldier serum Cap looked really cool but was still a bit unsure about Cap in action. It looks like a complete WW2 themed movie which I think will work great for his first film.
