Just got this email about one of eBay's new initiatives - Comics Auction! Its titled as a Comic Book Superhero Event and showcases some of the prime auctions on eBay for collectible items. They have four categories right now - Comic Art, Collectibles, Runs and Collections, and Comic Books. There is some great items here, such as Cassaday's Captain America Reborn #4 original art, a 9.2 graded copy of The Invincible Iron Man #1, a complete run of Kick Ass, and even Thor's hammer Mjolnir.
I don't quite know what the exact purpose is, other than to showcase comic book items, but it is a excellent sampling of some hot comic properties. I already have one in mind and have placed a bid already. I just couldn't help myself! Ah auctions, a bit of gambling and collecting rolled into one......sigh.
At any rate, you might check out the list, which seems to be geared towards Iron Man 2 and Marvel properties at the eBay Comic Book Superhero Event. It looked pretty cool, and I have some questions into the rep so more info should be coming soon.
