Kick Ass Didn't Kick It In Gear

Well that's what many movie sites are saying about Kick Ass.Its nigh twenty million dollar opening didn't take the number one spot, that went to How To Train Your Dragon in its second week, but it did already make up two thirds of its 30 million dollar budget. That would seem to be something to be happy about. While it doesn't seem to be a runaway hit, time is still early and it definitely appears that the endeavor will be profitable for the investors. I still haven't been able to see it, but anything that Ebert gives one star and says is, "...morally reprehensible," is so something I want to check out. What do you think?
