One of my other hobbies is paintball. Its such a rush to be running through the woods and shooting close friends with air powered paintball guns. I play with a paintball team in the NW called OK Company and have a lot of fun with these guys and gals. Being a comic book fan I've often thought of combining my two hobbies with a costume, maybe for a Halloween game or something like that. Turns out some guys from Gloversville, New York beat me to it. They have a paintball team called The Avengers and so far their roster includes Captain America, Venom, Hulk, Ant Man, and Iron Man.
You may laugh at these guys showing their comic colors on the battlefield but I applaud them. Comic fans often use Halloween or conventions as the excuse to put their comic costumes on, but there are other ways to dress up and have fun. My callsign in my group is Captain A and I still plan on making a Captain America costume one of these days.
