First Costume Contest Photos

Congrats to Kirk who sent in some sweet pictures of his costumes. First up is his Thor costume. Kirk's wife helped him out in making the costume and the hammer is scratch built as well. Kirk is setting the bar pretty high so be sure to get those costumes done and pictures sent in for the Cosotume Contest Extravaganza for 2009.
Dressing up as your favorite characters, or cosplay as it is becoming known, isn't for everyone, but Halloween is a guilt free holiday for dressing up in spandex and bright colors, wielding hammers and shields. This holiday was built for fanboys and fangirls to throw on a costume and head into the night, some might seek candy, others might seek a party, others still might seek a prize at a costume contest. Then there are those that wish to delight others with their costume skills and show off their handiwork. Either way, you're all invited to share your costumes this year in the costume contest. Get sewing!

When I have enough pictures, I will upload them to a gallery and have a poll as well as judges to determine a winner.
There is no tangible prize, other than being crowned superhero costume winner supreme!
