The Spirit Movie Gallery

Saturday April 19, 2008
The Spirit is Will Eisner's classic character from the 40's and 50's that broke new ground and paved the way for the comic book characters of today. Eisner is credited as shaping much of the way comics look and feel with this very comic character that told the tale of Denny Colt, who became a masked vigilante to bring criminals to justice. Eisner varied his tone and feel throughout the series, bringing in a variety of styles and stories that told The Spirit's exploits. Many creators feel that they were influenced by Eisner's work, and one such man is Frank Miller, who is directing this film. Check out the initial movie gallery for The Spirit and consider if this property has what it takes to reach today's audience.
