New York Comic Con Profile

Wednesday April 16, 2008
The New York Comic Con is only three years old this year, but it has already become one of the largest comic book conventions in the United States. It is a huge event in downtown New York City, smack dab in the middle of some of the largest comic book companies in world, not to mention in the backyard of a lot of comic creator talent. There is a lot going on in this convention, from The Hero Initiative's Comic Book Boot Camp, to Stan Lee receiving the New York Comic Legend Award, and that is just a couple of things going on outside the convention. If you are going to the New York Comic Con, what are you most excited to see? Post your comments below.

(1) Joe Bones says:

The FIRST AWARD should have gone to
JACK ‘KING’ KIRBY who was a NEW YORK COMIC LEGEND before Stan even had a job. Stan should have gotten the SECOND. If Kirby does not get the second, then something really stinks at NYCC!
