Buying Comic Books At Auction

Monday March 13, 2006
Buying and selling comic books at an auction website can be a greatly rewarding experience. But beware, what you may be buying may not be all that it seems. You must be very careful that you are dealing with reputable sellers with plenty of positive feedback. If you go in blindly and bid on an auction without doing research, then you may wind up in trouble.

This article from The Courier Mail talks about some of the problems that can arise with online auction sites. The article also talks about a new website developed by a person scammed on an auction sale. www.ebayersthatsuck.com is a great place to find out if the person you are buying from has a shady past.

In other auction news, if you are looking for older children's comics another new website may be the place to check out. www.scarcecomics.com specializes in hard to find and rare children's comic books.
