Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man 3?

According to rumors from The Hollywood Reporter, Gwen Stacy, Peter Parker's first love in the comics, is set to appear in Spider-Man 3. The actress in question is Bryce Dallas Howard, notably from M. Night Shyamalan's The Village, as the blind Ivy Walker.
